How do I fix this?

I've got a bunch of scratches on the bottom of my bumper because I ran into a parking stall cement thing.

I've also got some smaller ones from bumping into another small cement barrier that I did not see.

How do I fix them?

It kinda looks a lot worse than it actually is because when you're close to the car looking down you can't really see them. But when I'm walking up to my car every time I go to drive somewhere, they make me cringe.

And I don't have the money to go to a body shop to get them professionally fixed.

Sand, putty, primer and repaint.

last option is to use liquid paper and fill in the holes :P

A good body shop could have that looking like new for around $100

Seeing as the bumper is plastic I'm not too worried about it. It happened last summer, but I would like to get it fixed. I'll go around town to some shops and get quotes and see how much it'll cost. If it's more than like $150 I'll say forget it and try to fix it myself.

Don't go to the dealer bodyshop to get it painted ... my local one quoted me at $370 to paint the bumper, which I think is retarded.

My father have a Mitsubishi Endeavor. He went to a local bodyshop for paint 2 bumpers. Total price: $480.00

Good luck getting it fixed. Scratch x type cleaners will remove those greyish lines but like the others said, re-painting will be the only fix for those black ones.

Yes, if you have a some money the purchase new otherwise you will have to re-pait.

yea I got some more scratches on the rear bumper from a hit-and-run in a parking lot I have to pay a $300 insurance deductible on that, and the front I can't claim without my rates going up because it was my fault...

One body shop quoted around $400-450 for the rear bumper because they said they do it properly. take the bumper off as to not get overspray on the rest of the car, buff out what they can, repaint and clear it, theys aid they would like repaint the whole bumper.

The other body shop quoted me about $350 after taxes to do the rear and the front. I guess they would just be masking stuff off and repainting only those areas? I mentioned the price to the "real" body shop (they have a license with the insurance company) and he said they probably do shitty spot jobs.

I'd like to do it myself but I don't think I have the skills for that and I don't wanna fk* it up.


Also if I buy stuff from ings+1 or C One or whatever, those don't come painted, do they? And those aren't cheap either, damn.
