very nice :) hold the wing up snug, use a sharpie or a punch to mark the drill points, remove wing, drill holes, insert grommets, use stickytape for wing, stick into place, bolt it up.

if it's an ebay wing you'll HAVE to buy longer bolts. the ones supplied are too short.

i just did this for a YW member a couple days ago :)

i recommend either using a step bit or 3 different bits
1/8 inch for pilot

then 1/4 for mid

then final size, what is it, 12mm?

they look metal!

they are metel. do I need to get new ones? from what i can figure washer goes on screw, screw goes on spoiler, bushing comes from inside the body panel for the screw to screw into and holds it in place. is that not right? its what came with it so thats the best i could tell.

something needs to compress that metal bushing. set your camera on macro and take another shot of the bushing from a foot away :D

i cant get a non-fuzzy shot of them, but they are metel and wide on one end with groovs to lock it into place. the other end without the enlarged ring around it is threaded about halfway down

believe me drilling a hole in my car is going to be extremely hard for me to do and will be double checked about 100 times before that drill gets close to it starting out small and working up in the sizes

If those nut sleeves are like I've used, put a locking star washer and nut on the bolt with the star washer between the sleeve and the nut. Screw them into the insert and hold the sleeve and nut stationary with an end wrench while tightening the bolt to expand the sleeve below the panel. I'd slip in some RTV when installing these and put the bolts in with blue locktite to keep all water out.,

I have the same spoiler, same hardware.

I 3M taped mine to the car. It hasn't budged in months.
