Hey everyone..
Awhile back (before christmas) I was looking into leasing a yaris. I was told it could be a long wait, like a month or more depending on what colour you want. I am now going to starting looking for a car again as I am more financially prepared now and I was wondering is that still the case??? Does anybody know?
I'm in Ontario by the way.

Dealer trading should limit most waits. With gas down and a weak economy this year the demand isn't what is was last year.
I bought my 2008 sedan in March. Oakville Toyota traded a Guelph dealership who needed a white automatic (the one I test drove before opting for a 5 speed).
AFTERTHOUGHT: you might want to put a drop dead date on any deal you sign, thus ensuring they can't leave you hanging indefinitely waiting for a vehicle not yet in Ontario or worse Canada.

Only if you are picky on the color and RS options.
I really wanted a white one, but they are completely out in Ontario so i got the magnetic grey instead.

Got my red 09 ce 3dr LB 5 speed with A/C in Jan, waited 2 weeks. upfront paid $428, $216 a month for 59 month, buy out $5350 @ the end. I think i got a good deal.
Out here on the West Coast my dealer claims a wait of up to 6 months on some versions including the base 5 dr hatch like the one I bought last month.
Could be typical Dealer BS, but who knows...

bah, i got my white sedan aero in 2 days. They had one automatic in the showroom, but i wanted manual. There was only ONE available across Canada at the time in manual. They brought it within 2 days from Bedford, ONT.
