Anyone install rear CF Seibon lip?

Myself and the body shop installer installed the Seibon CF front lip with no issues. But, the rear lip we couldn't get installed. We think its simply not wide enough with the bumper on the car. We think we can possibly get it installed with the bumper off the car...I was just wondering if anyone has installed it before and knows if there's a certain trick to getting it on.

The fitment of the lips aren't great I can tell you that much. My front lip was the same way, it didn't fit perfect so some magic had to happen.

My front lip went on without a hitch :iono:

I have scratches in my rear bumper now from trying to massage the lip on. Seems flat impossible right now.

I'd imagine its harder to install without the arm and a leg you paid for it.

Sorry that had to happen to you. Now we know there are some serious fitment issues with lips! - I was thinking about a lip but now I think I will wait for a replacement bumper instead. BTW, love your mandrel bent stainless exhaust system!

i dunno man, it might not be worth the trouble so you should just let me have it, along with all ur other cf trim pieces since it really wont look complete without the rear lip....:drool:

Not a chance!!!

I would have gotten the matching sideskirts too but they were on 8 week back order so I settled for the OEM pieces.
