I tried searching the forum already, but I haven't found any answers. I apologize if I missed them. So far the only configuration I've done on the SGII is change the engine size to 1.5L.

1.) The TPS readout never seems to go below 14, and at wide open throttle reads 80. Is this normal?

2.) Shouldn't the iMPG register 9999 (DFCO) a second after I take my foot off the gas entirely? It only seems to do it when I'm driving around town. On the highway it jumps into the 140mpg range when I take my foot off the gas.

Thanks MPGers!

2) DFCO requires the engine to be at a certain RPM to activate, so just taking your foot off the gas doesn't guarantee DFCO.

Ahh, I see. Thank you!

Anyone have answer for #1?

I believe the throttle body is limited to around 80% open for WOT on the yaris. One benefit of upgrading to the Matrix/Corolla throttle body is that it is a larger opening to begin with so 80% is actually allowing more air than the stock TB.

When I set up my scangauge I seem to recall having to set engine size to 1.5, gas tank size to 11.1 and TPS to 21 (this might fix your problem). I seem to recall reading the TPS setting thing on here somewhere, maybe from Bailout.

Someone please post if I have the numbers wrong or if there is something else that needs to be set up initially.

#1. Mine says 14 or 15 with no pressure on the accelerator.

Where do you set the TPS?

Where do you set the TPS?

It is in the setup somewhere. It's been so long I don't remember, but it is in the instructions.

To me 15-80 seems to be the TPS range... sometimes it'll go to 14, 13 is the lowest i've ever seen, but generally 15-17 is what I see.

DFCO doesn't appear for a prolly 1-1.5 seconds after I take foot off pedal for me... seems to be a lag in the SG. ALso... DFCO kicks in much quicker when the engine is warm... I've noticed it doesn't like to go into DFCO when the engine is say... 90F or lower.
