Hey all,
Found a used camcon for a pretty good deal , but I'm still weary about buying it , installing it , paying for dyno tuning time only to get minimal gains (like 1-2 hp) or have it over ridden by the ecu after a couple of weeks . I've serched and only found a few posts on Yw about the Camcon and none of them were conculsive . I have the basic modds aem ,header , nitto mid-pipe and hks axle back and the car is running rich as hell , so i'm really just trying to pull out some fuel and advance the timing. As far as I know nobody has successfully ran a afc or camcon on their yaris yet . What do everybody think ???

hi there
I am using APEXi Neo ( for AFR ) and Camcon ( for Timing ) in the same time.
in my opinion it worths the price and effort. my standard 1nz-fe with only Apexi Neo, TRD Clutch & Clutch cover, and custom muffler & piping can go up to 173Nm ( 4500 RPM ) and 132BHP ( 6000 RPM ), while the factory stock is only around 109 BHP.
i haven't done the dyno again with the Camcon installed, but it definitely increases the performance and response a lot.

it's by far a good combination and easy to use.

cheers
