i could get there and back on 3 gals easy, its recommended to have at least half a tank at the beginning of the even though.

half a tank... nah more like 1/4-3/8 of a tank. unless you have a carb that'll bog out when cornering... of which none of us need to be concerned.

ive left around 3:00 3:30 both times ive went. seems likely anyone in the ST or novice classes will run the first heat. pros go last. so usually the first and second heats are done by 1:30 approx. so you'll be ok.

more like 50 to register, and 20 for water and some food. its no-mans land there, and it gets really f'n hot on the track.
