if i have an apex AFC neo and can monitor RPM, Throttle, Battery voltage, Correction %, Air flow, Pressure, Karmann, & VVTI.it allows fuel delivery control thru modifying air flow meter or MAP sensor signals as well as the rpm you want the vvti to kick in how can i tune it with what i have. 3' CAI // 2.25 straight pipe // 2.25 cut-out // AMK header // ground kit // voltaje stabilizer // iridium spark plugs // throttel work

I think he's asking how he can tune it with what modifications he has?

the first time i read the op i skimmed over the first word, then i went back and reread it and it didn't make sense to me.

as well as the rpm you want the vvti to kick in

You can not modify the RPM in which the VVTI kicks in because the VVTI does not kick in at any particular RPM point.

This engine is different from the 2ZZ engine that has VVT-L Our engine does not have cams lift.

The VVTI in our engine works all the time at any RPM you are... so there is no kick in point.

And regarding the question about how to tune your car with the SAFC... well, if you do a little search on the forum you will find that no one here has a SAFC installed on the Yaris.
I'm not sayinf it can not be done... just saying that you won't find any tunning advise here... since no one really knows...

So, you are probably on your on! But please let us know if have some success installing this piggyback on a Yaris.

Well, to be fair, it's much harder reading things that have no punctuation at all.
And yeah, VVT-i isn't like vtec where it "kicks in" after a point. It's a continuous operation. If you want to mess around with the timing, look into a Power Enterprises Camcon.

if someone tune a yaris with SAFC the parameters will stay?? does the ECU will not try to modify the parameters after?

they told me that the ecu won't try to modify the parameter and the apex is to turn on when racing is not like it's going to be turned on for everydat use

I'm sure i Puerto Rico must be a lot of tuners very familiar with the SAFC.

Give it a try and report back to us what you find!

Perhaps you can find one used for cheap and do some experimentation

it cost 225 with instalation and they chip it so it can controll the air because it only controlls the fuel

Apex NEO AFC as in AIR/ fuel controller

It does controls the air and fuel mixture with out the need to "chip" it.

What doesn't control is the ignition timing...

On a N/A car I don't see it producing any gains with out advancing the timing.

But I would love to be proved wrong!

I know a friend of mine picked up like 12HP with a SAFC on his first get turbo yaris.

there's a recipe for a 135whp n/a yaris with small mods over here. i'll keep u posted with whatever i do to come to those numbers. but one of those things is a custom intake mani. if someone knows...please post
