No wonder some kids these days are so f'd in the head. I used to be a Eminem fan, but methinks he's gone too far.

What are your thoughts on that? Would you wan't your child listening to that? Before I get online bashed here, i'm 30 years old and like most of Eminems work, but this has gone too far.

yeah, that song is pretty crazy. i dont hate this song, BUT i dont love it. theres just something about eminem where i expected this kind of song. but i just like how eminem has actual stories to his songs compared to other rappers where they just rap about random crap.

Well he does has "normal stuff" on the album, but this just happens to be one of his tracks that he is known for putting out there, that upsets people. He doesnt care about people thing, he just puts the music out there, people love it, buy it, making him millions, so he keeps on doing it.

It actually one of the best songs on the album - very well crafted verses.

The lyrics on paper do make it sound worse though...but really it's just a fun sounding song.

No worse than some of his others (such as Fack :eek:).

Another great album though. (He's the only rapper I listen to and I love his work).

Who decides what is acceptable? He, like most other rappers (and other explicit artists such as Marilyn Manson for example) are practicing their freedom of speech and those who are offended can choose not to listen.

Am I saying I enjoy this type of language or actions? Of course not, but I appreciate Eminem's right to speak this way if he chooses to.

And a lot of people like to be shocked. It has sold him millions of albums (aside from being a rap genius).

And if you don't like someone's music, don't buy it, and don't let your kids buy it. Simple as that. The government can keep it off radio and free broadcast TV, but you can't tell people what they can sing/rap about.

Does anyone not realize this is kinda what Marshall (Eminem) wants you guys to do, really... He upsets people for kicks now, he will add someones name just because he wants them to react. The general public too, the more press he gets for a "Obscure and Obscene" song gets him airtime on media outlets he cant get normally (CNN or National News), so guess what... If we keep getting pissy about everything he does, he wins.

IMHO, he does these kinds of songs to get under people's skin, to see how much of an uproar he can create.

I have heard the song, its a good sounding song, if you stay away from tearing it down word for word, lyric for lyric...Enjoy the music, regardless of content. People listen to songs everyday and have no idea what the origional intent of the artist was, even the older stuff (ACDC, Black Sabbath, Nirvana)...We just enjoy the music for what we can relate to us as a people and our own experiences in life.

Think about all the kids out there who actually were raped and abused by their parents in this way, this might be the only song they can relate to. Step outside the spectrum of what we see as acceptable, and start looking at any way this could be seen as OK. Only then can we really see things from every angle.

I dont say what he did was good or bad, I just say that he is doing what he does best. Making music, and causing controversy.

Very few songs of his songs are about rape and murder. Maybe those are the only words you can understand, but there is more there.

The fact that you bring him up when he isn't signed to a major label just shows how smart he is.
