*edit - I was racing against my friends 04 Marauder that is pretty unmolested, but usually we can be found eating cones and not going in such nice straight lines. Prior to the supercharger we were both in STS, which was crap cause I still never caught up to him the whole day! Oh well, we had fun and enjoyed getting sunburns together :biggrin:

Sounds Great. Buy why does a supercharged yaris run a 10.6 in an 1/8 mile? I'm pretty sure a near stock yaris would be capable of that time if not better. Not bashing just curious.

...I did get down to a 10.401... I spun through most of 1st and 2nd on pretty much all my runs, thanks to my street tires :) The track is located in NW florida and has track temps in the triple digits most summer days

I have never claimed to be a good drag strip person, honestly I hate drag racing but I was curious to see what I could do and both the Marauder and I were just there to have fun. Again, both of us are Autocross people so we were pretty much completely out of our element...

auxmike- I posted that one cause the supercharger was really loud, there's another video of the 10.4 also somewhere on youtube but I was up against some hot rod that was really loud

I don't have quarter or 1/8th mile strips where I live, but I was looking at 10.4 secs @ 66mph: Considering a stock Yaris is supposed to hit 62mph in under 10 secs, does it seem odd that a supercharged Yaris is posting numbers like this?
