BLAH!! Just when i got rid of my cheap exhaust tip, I was happy and worry-free with my cutee little yaris. BUT THEN!!!!!!! When I finished washing it.... I noticed PEELING on my projector headlights. BLAH looks like the clearcoat on the plastic is peeling? I've only had these lights for about a year, so I'm kinda pissed that they're peeling. I got them from a seller on yarisworld, probably the guy most of you guys got it from too (when they first came out). Anyone else experiencing this problem with either the projectors or the original headlights? Any suggestions, like products I can use to get rid of the peeling plastic coat?

I'm at work right now so I can't take a pic till later, but it looks kinda like chipped clear nail polish LOL, its kinda like the edges of the headlight's clear coat are starting to chip and slowly flake off. I got it from that one yarisworld seller that was selling them when they first came out, it says on my paypal transaction: Frank Amoah, but I'm sure that wasn't his yarisworld name lol. I got the black ones btw. This a pic of them before they started peeling.

If you are going to sand and then clear coat, use a very fine grade of sand paper 2000 or 3000, do not apply much pressure, let the sandpaper do the cutting for you, and be patient. If you try a rougher grade, you will most likely get grooves that are visible even after the clar coat is applied. Also after sanding, wash throughtly, use prepping solven such as all prep and even a tack cloth to make sure the surface is completely free of all dust.

Post the results!
