cutting the piece i ended up scratching off some of the anodizing and i've found that the best fix is just a normal black sharpie :biggrin:

Looks good. I like the thin, smaller mesh like yours better than the larger style.

We used to call the "Portuguese Anodising" at the boatyard. Not to denigrate the Portuguese, but to compliment them on a good fix.

Looks fine, but hard to clean I imagine. :iono: Also, how do you direct airflow up and down, and close the vent(s) too? That functionality is totally eliminated. Looks over practicality, for sure. Sorry to appear negative; its just a constructive comment.

i leave them blowing air straight out constantly and have never moved them. it was a sacrifice i was happy to make :biggrin:
