It used to have crystallized syrup stuff in the bottom. It doesn't anymore. What the heck. :mad:

As far as I know, people online have been saying it's been like this for years. There can be no pictures...? I just contacted JJ Snack Foods asking about it, I wonder if they'll write back.

still have it here. picked up some the other day for my son and it had the syrup. also try letting it thaw slightly and then refreeze and it should be there

I know exactly what you are talking about because I used to do that as a kid. That was my favorite part of the ice.
J&J changed the texture a few years ago and that's probably why that consistency on the bottom doesn't happen anymore.
Hopefully you still like the product! I'll have our customer service department send coupons to you.

Also, I did the refreezing trick. I not only got the bottom to do that awesome crystallization thing, but it climbed the sides as well. It was a huge cup of it! I am happy again.
