Well, I have for sale this engagement ring with matching band from my never-happened wedding.

Here are the pictures, sorry I'm not a good photographer.

This is how much I paid back then..

And I asking $2500. Free shipping if it is outside Los Angeles area (PM for details about shipping). Delivery and pickup available. I live in Pasadena, California.

The engagement ring was used for a few months, so it has some small hard to see wear marks on the bottom of the ring... You need to see the ring REALLY close to notice that.

Everything else is perfect!

I already sold a few stuff here, scionlife and clubxb... and every sale was satisfactory. If you need some references, I can give some of my selling posts to check that everything went good. Also I can give you my eBay username to check my 100% positive feedback (141 sales).

If you have any questions, PM me.

Thanks!

That is a beautiful set - if you want to add to the chances of selling it ... post it on diamondring.com. We are obsessed with beautiful rings over there and I'm sure someone would purchase that.

Getting the GIA rating or similar soon.. stay tune!

I found a place to do the certificate, Just found one in Los Angeles, in the International Jewelry Center. I need to call them first. Just in case, also, anyone knows any place in SoCal to get the GIA certificate?

Thanks!

You need to send the stone to the GIA to get a GIA cert. It takes a few weeks and costs $100-$200 if I remember correctly.

You would be better off having an insurance appraisel (sp) done by a GIA certified appraiser. That way, the clarity of the stones and the weight of the gold in the ring would be documented and accounted for both seperatly and together.

A GIA cert. for the stone would be nice, but would be a bit of a hassel.

If you send it to GIA (you can google their contact information) just remember that they will NOT accept a set stone. You have to have the center stone removed from the setting for them to grade it.
It's worth it, becuase with a .70, if the C's are nice enough you can easily double the value and instead of getting 1/2 of what you purchased you could get the full amount back.

Either way, good luck =o)
