Although this event is already booked full. DNGZ and myself will be out there competing in solo2. DNGZ will be in FSP and I'll be in SM class.

Come on out. I can offer some rides to any of those who want to ride on the track.

Bengolf? Ryu? Anyone?
It'd be nice to at least see more of the guys come out.

If you guys do come down to spectate, remember there are alot of cops hiding around there so please when driving down Ford Road in Pitt Meadows, go slow slow slow.

Here's the results of the event.

INDEXED RESULTS (http://www.ubcscc.com/events/2009/summerax2/I.TXT)

TOP TIMES (http://www.ubcscc.com/events/2009/summerax2/I.TXT)

The top times are what we usually go by. If we were looking for points of course we'd be using indexed times, but I don't pay much attention to them.

DNGZ was supposed to be in FSP and he'd place much higher if this was the case.
He did really well against some pretty heavy competition out there.

If any of you guys decide to try auto x you'll be surprised how well these little cars perform. Slap on some R-comps and you'll probably get top 10's easily with a bit of practice.

The course layout was really fun and technical. It was sunny, but not too hot and everyone had alot of fun!

Just bumped in Bengolf at the bubble tea place.
Beng, It's not that complicated...well ok this last course was tricky, but most of them are not this tricky. Regardless, it's alot of fun, it's cheap and not too hard on the cars or tires and you get to see how your car handles. It's great for learning how to control your car in emergency situations. We also have senior drivers who can ride with you to learn the course, the car and the sport. You also get a chance to do a walk around the course with a map so you can see how it's laid out and figure out where to go.

What I liked about this video is that it shows my hand placement on the steering wheel.
3 and 9 oclock.
