OK, I've got one of the Taiwanese OEM spoilers on my car (the kind Gary sells at Yaris Universe (http://www.yarisuniverse.com/shop/article_SP-001/07%2B-Liftback-Spoiler-(unpainted).html?shop_param=cid%3D2%26aid%3DSP-001%26)), but yesterday one of the little caps that covers the bolt holes fell off. It is a little 3/4" cap, and I picked up a metal one at Lowe's and spraypainted it, but the prongs on it are too long and it won't fit snugly.

I am willing to work on modding it to fit, but I was wondering if there is a better source for a replacement cap? I can spraypaint it myself, I used metallic black touch-up paint and the metal one came out fine; but I would prefer to find something that fits better...

Thanks in advance!

Cheers! M2

i f-ed up on my covers, but using the wrong screws, so my covers are tilted up at a 45 degree angle...3M tape has been holding them for almost 2 years now~

Use a dremel to trim it down, perhaps?

Ha, I lost one too! Made a cap out of that carbon fiber sheeting I sell.

how about a file...or a grinder, or a dremel, or a set of dikes/wire cutters/angle cutters...

and of course, glue and tape always help.

Well, I got some 3/4" metal end caps from Lowe's and spraypainted them using an modeling airbrush I have and some touch-up paint. They came out nicely but the tabs don't work, so I am going to have to use some adhesive. I thought about superglue but if I ever need to remove them it will be a mess. A lesser adhesive should work, I just haven't figured out what I am going to use just yet.

Oh, and epoxy didn't work!

use clear silicone, you can still get them off but not easily.
