Hi all, I've just got my car lowered with Pedders Sports Ryders springs. Got them to cut the bump stops as well as front/rear wheel alignment.

Must say, it looks alot nicer(normal). Fronts were dropped bout 2 inches, rear 40mm.

The rear height is still higher than the front, but ride is still very supple, perhaps even more supple than stock. It corners more flatly and handles slightly better. Seems my tires are the limiting factor. Rubs slightly on the front inside plastic guard, but only on huge bumps, I mean taking corners at double legal limit(90km/h on 45km/h) on bumpy roads.

I'm very happy with the result. What do you's all think?

Thanks people.

Pedders are an Australian company. I believe you's have Pedders in USA,

http://www.peddersusa.com/

I must tell you's that if you want handling performance, these springs are not for you. In Australia, with our very bumpy roads, I felt that these springs are the better buy for good comfort, stability and slightly better handling.

Oh yeah, the rims are taiwanese jobbies, Kspeed Zeta's with Falken Ziex 512's (I don't recommend these tyres for grip....).

Any Pedders outlet can do it for you. It cost me $560 AUS for coils, installation and wheel alignment. If you get them to do it, tell them to cut the bump stops. If you want to install yourself, the springs are

Front Spring Low
2942 2942 Sports Ryder Coil Spring
Rear Spring Low
2943 2943 Sports Ryder Coil Spring

They retail for $158 for front pair, and $158 for rear pair. They work well with stock shocks. I don't get any bouncing(underdamp) from the front or rear.

Thanks
