Yeah, it looks like it just strengthens up your subframe the by the fenders. Prolly not worth the weight IMO.

Those are about the ONLY braces that will be worth the weight. I'm considering getting these. These should make turn in more consistent. Much better than a front strut brace.

The front framerails are generally one of the weakest areas of the unibody. These do help in WRXs and EVOs which have a lot of weight over the front wheels as well.

guy who installed bars had stated that this mod made his fenders mis-aligned. not sure if he replied back as to a fix but then again im too lazy to click link and check. if fenders didn't have to come off id be interested in this as well.....

interesting...

on a side note, another common Evo/WRX part i would love to have is the offset antilift/lower a arm bushings.

when I'm done drag racing and move to road/auto x setup, I'll be putting the fender braces on.

The upgraded bushings are good but you dont want less front caster.

the bushings i saw on perrin increased front caster by offsetting the hole. no effect on camber though.

I bought it, but don't have a chance to put it on yet:frown:

it takes a long time to remove the fender:frown::frown:

I put the fender braces on. Honestly I cannot say if these made any improvement on their own since I installed almost everything at the same time. The fender braces though aren't too heavy, must be like 3kg each. I haven't gotten around to re-aligning the doors (not the fenders) so they shut easily enough as it takes a whole lot of time to do it. Best way is to open-close the doors once they are installed, but prior to putting back on the front fenders (which are really light by the way!)

In case anyone's interested, I also got the Penguin Garage hub spacers and my rear wheels seem to have stopped rubbing wherever they were rubbing. Simple stuff, but well made. Kudos to the guys there!

Stupid me forgot to buy the NST pulley kit when my friend was there (doh!)

Back to UR braces, you should get them ALL! It's well worth the price, nowhere near CUSCO. AFAIK 2-3 CUSCO braces would pay for almost ALL the UR braces lol

The wrx front arms are quite a bit different. I've installed a few of those anti lift kits on Subarus.
