Shipping to Canada is almost twice as much as the rims. But yeah, the price is a bit sketchy to me. As for which to choose; I'm torn, I like both =S

With shipping, they are about $90 a piece... which is no real bargain.
Don't care much for black wheels or dual drilled wheels.
#1 doesn't look too bad, plus the dual drilling has been nicely incorporated into the wheels centre design.
#2 is acceptable, but the dual drilling looks like absolute shite!

And which size tyre do you propose installing on ET35?

205/45/16 is 23.26" tall (shorter than stock which is 23.74" tall)
205/50/16 is 24.07" tall (taller than stock but closer to stock than 205/45/16)
if it were me i'd do the taller tire. it's probably cheaper too.

OEM is 195/50/16, so either of the sizes you mention would work. With stock suspension, 205's work very well.
However, I'd hesitate installing 205's with ET35 on most YW cars; it makes for a bit of a sloppy "American fitment" up front without suspension mods... which most YW members won't even consider.
For most 16" applications, I would recommend 195's with ET38-40; and 205's with ET42 or greater.

what do you mean by sloppy american fitment?
there are PLENTY of yarii on YW running lower offsets with 205's and are not rubbing.

There are actually very few members running ET35 with 205 rubber. Certainly, rubbing is an issue with that fitment, particularly on a lowered vehicle. Indeed, we've had uncountable threads and posts addressing exactly this fitment/rubbing issue.
"Sloppy American" fitment refers to the one-size-fits-all mentality that is all too common here in the States, where the wheel rim and/or tyre sidewall bulges out past the fender. In Japan, wheel and tyre fitment is much more than a simple mechanical application; it is an art.
For most of our members, the standard fitment recommendations detailed in the "Official YARIS Wheel and Tire Guide" will serve them best and make for a clean, trouble-free fitment.
Of course, for those YW members heavily into suspension mods, more radical wheel and tyre applications are always possible and we all enjoy reading about them and checking out the photos.

i'll wait for current members running lower-than-40 offsets and 205 tires to come here and back me up ;)

I'm running stock tires on a lower than 40 offset with tein springs and needed to pull/roll my fenders since tight turns and multiple people in the car caused rubbing. I give this one to kimona.

EDIT: then again, I don't think I fit the "sloppy american" fitment. :bellyroll:

There is a good amount of more members than the "very few" running that or with more offset.

rubbing is not an issue when you know what you are doing. Even on lowered vehicles.

That's exactly the issue: Most people don't know what they are doing, and most members just want to bolt on their wheels/tyres and go with no worries.

anyone who has their car lowered should get their car aligned. anyone who gets their car aligned by default should be installing camber bolts. -1.5deg camber will fix all of the rubbing problems up front with a X7+30 offset

Yes, alignment is generally in order, but camber bolts by default... Get serious, mate! Miost YW members don't want to get into that.
Nevertheless, the wheel and tyre fitment recommendations apply to stock suspension as well... unless, of course, you like the look of the wheels and/or tyres poking out up front.

well my offset AND width it +15 and 7 wide with my stock tires so there is stretch on the tire. The point hes making is MOST people aren't educated enough when picking wheels and tires to make sure there is no rub. i knew what i was getting myself into so i made plans to have my roll and pull.

This rules out a lot of wheels, but don't ignore these important specs unless you want a rubbing showboat.
I stick with OEM wheels on these cars, really the only other choice are very expensive.

Actually, inexpensive wheels with ET38, ET40, and ET42, and a handful of ET45 are quite easy to find.
