one less child molester on the earth, good riddance.

That is word for word what I am telling everyone - people are calling me a heartless bitch.
lol

If it was some random child touching 50 year old up the road, no one would give a crap. I only feel sorry for his "kids" becuase they are too young to fully understand what he has done in his life, and still love him for being their dad. For that, I am sad he has passed becuase no child should have to suffer through the loss of a parent.

Outside of that GOOD RIDDANCE.

A sexual oddity of the evil, predatory variety. If he hadn't been rich he would have been in jail and dead there long ago. The conspiracy is called fame & big money buy the law. No sadness in my house.

Just a couple of things to think about

- MJ was never convicted of child molestation.
- Some people will try to exploit the rich and famous for monetary gain.

To quote Trent Reznor: "In America when we attain a certain level of success, its surprising to see all the legions of people around that just start fucking with you and ... can't wait to see you fail, waiting for you to fuck up, ripping you off, trying to use you..."

Granted, I think some of the things MJ said were inappropriate ...

well, In my hell of an opinion like any of you cares, is that, it's a sad say for music lovers and the ones who enjoys/admire his performance and his music which influenced many out there, again i am talking about the music world.

on the other hand, it might be a happy day for the parents of the victims because just like others said, one less pervs on earth, good riddance..etc! but again, he was never convicted of such act, so who knows if he really did. i am not in the position to judge he did NOT or he DID. however, to some of you, he deserves this death, i guess. but to me, it's sad, coz the fact i grew up with his music. that's just my 2cents.

i am sure someone is on the way here to get me flamed! RIP MJ *pour out some liquors*

agreed media exploitation, guilty/not guilty one of the greatest musical talents in our time is now lost.

my wife grew up somewhat sheltered and was never able to listen to his stuff .. so she doesnt appreciate his music at all. The way he was able to sing at a young age no one has done yet with such soul. and the fame a recognition he got around the world i dont think will be matched. I'd say impact wise he's right up there with Elvis and the beatles. and for my generation.. no one comes close ..maybe U2

his stuff was great and the music videos and dancing he did back in the day inspired legions of people.

its sad. :(

farah faucet (sp?) died too :(

RIP

I did love M.J - king of pop. Everyone has their views on his death. He wasnt proven guilty for touching little boys? Why is everyone so convinced he did? Cuz of media, everyone would rather believe the shit in the magazines and news.

If the news said "ellen is not gay" and ellen said she is gay i bet hard headed people would believe the media instead of the person itself.......sad

He was awesome in the 70's and 80's. Even though he had a couple good songs in the 90's, I couldn't stand him otherwise. He was just too weird...

Off-topic: if this is a conspiracy, then what's the story behind Elvis' death? LOL

We could get into an ugly debate here about the many scandals surrounding his life, but let's not.

Just remember one thing, settling out of court doesn't mean you are guilty of anything. It means that legal fees are outrageously expensive and you're trying to cut your loses because defending your good name could ruin you. I know that concept is easier to understand if you ever get sued or know someone who's getting sued. Not wishing that on anyone!

We don't really have any proof one way or the other about what MJ did or didn't do, so...

Can we instead try to remember the numerous gifts Michael Jackson left behind for all of us:

Thriller
Bad
Beat it
Rock my world...

There are so many I forget.

The MOONWALK? I mean... damn.. at the time, it was INCREDIBLE!!! Still is!

This one was a favorite of mine, long before Michael became so weird looking.

Let them. f' em if they do!

You're right. He was HUGE in the world of MUSIC. Personally, I think he peaked in the 80's. early 90's.

We ALL loved and bought the albums at the time. I still have a few cassette tapes I used to play in my old sony walkman! (yeah, that's ancient technology!)

Yes, he was kind of a weirdo (I'm not saying I believe the allegations against him, by the way, that's a different story) and why the F..ck would someone make themselves look like Joan Crawford, but he a damn good musician / dancer / entertainer at the time.

wow, someone somewhat agrees with me, ha,guess it's an honor!?

again, i will always remember him as an artist, a tremendous artist ever in the music biz and the entertainment world! other stuff, it was his personal life, media decided to reveal it, but i think we have the will and power to believe or not to believe...

his music, lives on..

PS, there were also SCream with his sister Janet, Smooth Criminal....etc

I loved his music in the 80's and still do. Regardless if he really was a Chimo, he made good tunes.

I too am amazed how people are led like sheep in their media generated beliefs
The whole "touching the Boy" story was rooted in a couple of greedy parents making allegations that their child was abused for the sole reason of extorting money from MJ,the public immediately jumped on MJ the pedophile side of the story with absolutely no proof or criminal convictions ensuing. The guy loved kids and unfortunately through his interactions left himself wide open for unscrupulous people to set him up and rip him off which they succeeded in doing.

absolutely no proof

I'm not positive one way or the other, but you guys(not just you jambo) are being absolutely biased in his defense. Whether or not he actually molested or touched boys, he still admitted to the whole "jesus juice" thing. He admitted to sleeping in the same bed as children. Dude was addicted to oxycontin, as well as other extremely potent drugs. I guess its completely normal to one arm sling your child off the top story of a hotel too. Oh, and getting plastic surgery to the point where your nose falls off points to a very stable individual.

He was an extremely weird man, who did very bizarre things. I've always found those who choose to be his staunch defenders with no proof, to be insane.

With all that said, he was an amazing musician, and one of the last truly innovative mainstream pop stars.

"He was an extremely weird man, who did very bizarre things." Agreed.

Myself, I've always found those who choose to be his staunch accusers with no proof, to be absolute assholes.

I don't have proof, therefore I don't know for a fact, therefore, I give him the benefit of the doubt. May he rest in peace.

Please allow me to reiterate and elaborate on the content previously stated by submet

1) The "man" engaged in surgical modification to the point of physical self destruction. This is clear and common knowledge.

2) The "man" was a drug addict. The substances of abuse were the most potent narcotics in the legal pharmacology. This is as stated by His own physician.

2) the "man" slept with other peoples children in his bed, as well as gave intoxicating liquour to children, by his own admission

3) The "man"was publicly accused on multiple occasions of child molestation. While this in and of itself is by no means in and of itself a conviction, the unusualness , the reptitiveness of these charges , combined with the fact that they were only dropped when his estate offered extremely large finacial settlements, and when taken in the context that his other behaviour surrounding these incidents is the textbook behaviour of a pedophile would suggest that the extremely strong probability that he is a pederest, perhaps not strongly enough to convict a person of wealth and stature in a criminal case, but almost certainly strong enough to stand up to the somewhat lower standards that it would take to win a civil suite.
He was pathetic, in the true sense of the word, and as such deserves a modicum of sympathy, but his predatory disregard of the well being of others has also been well demonstrated . He will continue to be the butt of my cold hearted jokes, just as you will continue to pathalogically defend him.

Sorry, hot dog, I am a college educated psychologist. You are a pathetic whiner who has a pathological need to defend a person who is in all reasonable probability a child molester. I assure I am am one of the least "sheepish" persons a silly creature such as your self is likely to come across. I am not looking any one aspect, but the configuration of the situation of a whole. You are grasping at straws, give it up.While I am a staunch defender of all consensual adult sexual variation, and also realise the oportunities for blackmail of those extreme wealth. THE MAN READS AS A TEXT BOOK EXAMPLE OF PEDOPHILIA! Get your degree then come talk to me chump.
