Maybe a noob question but help me please.

i have an 09 sedan and my stero/dash looks like the one pictured below. how and what do i do to get an aftermarket stereo?

you can go to a car audio shop and pick something out and let them do it profesionally. OR do it yourself :) It's really not that difficult. Do some research on any stereo units you might be interested in, look at the specs, read the reviews, shop around for different prices and shipping costs. Check out www.mysimon.com <-- lists prices from different online stores, look at that once you know what you want to get. You can use www.crutchfield.com to help you decide on something. They have "what fits your vehicle" thingy. You put in make, model, yr, sedan or hatch (looks like you got a sedan) and it will list stuff that fits in you vehicle. They have hands on research you can read about with almost every thing in their inventory and great customer service. They are kind of pricey but they ship with all the install equipment you need and detailed instructions on how-to. If you've never done this before then that might be your best bet.
