Hmm. It's a bit too early to see how the styling would be changed, but an interesting idea.

Probably will have HID lights, leather seats and a wood trim dash. :iono:

Oh, and a 6.0 Liter 48-valve V12 engine.

You're kidding right?...other Wise this will be my first super luxury car! Kinda like buying a Beamer bike so I can say I have a BMW.

It's supposedly going to cost around $32,000!

It'd have to be tricked out like Bond's DB-5 in Goldfinger.

Toyota makes great products but this idea will fly as well as the Cadillac Cimarron. GMs terrible use of the J body style for the 1980s The product won't be up to the expectations of the typical Aston Martin buyer. And Newbies to the Aston Martin brand wouldn't pay 1,000s more for something they could buy from Toyota

They are not going to sell them. Toyota just commissioned their design people to spice up an iQ for marketing/ad purposes. Looks like it started a buzz eh?

If Toyota brings the iQ to the U.S. via Scion with more aggressive styling (as suggested in article linked above) I think I will barf. I am sick of faux, design-in-anger flourishes that are meaningless. Give us a plain old iQ and forget the silly Scion-esque ferverinos please. A little class is all I ask for.

The pea-green Scion iQ you see has the 5Axis body kit. It's extremely unlikely that's what they'll look like on the showroom floor. Remember the xA and the xB when they first came out? 5Axis had stupid ass body kits on those, and lo and behold: the xA and xB came out plain like vanilla. I wouldn't buy the iQ if it came with that body kit. It doesn't flow well at all.
So: don't worry about the body kit. It'll have "class."

i'm in no way saying the yaris isn't a good car. but to say that a scion isn't classy and a yaris IS...... is silly

The Cygnet, or young swan, will be positioned as a “luxury commuter” model (http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601209&sid=azyBP1Jd6m7o)

We already have those. See the people driving Bimmers, Benzs, and SUVs, etc. to work?

I could never see a car that small as being luxurious. It just doesn't register in my mind...

Some things just shouldn't be done like Porsche making a 4 door sedan and Aston Martin selling a rebadged Toyota. Nor do I honestly believe people who are in the market for an Aston are looking for a small little commuter car, however luxurious it might be.

i'm in no way saying the yaris isn't a good car. but to say that a scion isn't classy and a yaris IS...... is sillyOh, I have no issue w/ Scion at all. I have issues w/ useless styling flares....I really don't care what car they are on. One of the pics showed an iQ w/ such flares (hinting that this is what may come to the U.S.). I like the iQ "as is," and I'd be fine w/ a Scion badged iQ....but if that body kit could be optional, I'd be really happy.

Bottom line....the iQ pics and videos were are seeing look very cool. The pic w/ the body kit looked a bit over the top.

Weird... They better do some sweet stuff with the suspension and engine then I'd consider. Need to make the yaris a work rig, this would be nice for a personal rig.

I just don't get it, frankly. I mean, I get it, but and Aston Martin-branded iQ? I'm all for subcompacts (even "premium subcompacts"), but I think the front end on this guy looks goofy.
