do you have over 100k miles? Thats when the stock iridium plugs need replacement. if you are that worried, just take them out and clean them.

i live in egypt my stock plugs are denso but not iridiums

I believe Denso is the brand of the iridium plugs.:smile:I don't think Toyota would use anything else.

They also use NGK iridium on ocasion.
Denso, NGK are both great plugs.

do i have anything to worry about installing them , gapping or misfiring issues ?
and should i expect any power gains or better MPG ?

Spark plugs are spark plugs so far as engine power and fuel economy are concerned. If the plug's firing, the engine doesn't know or care what the electrodes are made of or if there's more than one ground electrode. The spark can only jump to one at a time. Claims of performance improvement with changes in plug design are snake oil. The advantage of the iridium plugs is the 100,000 mile life. The iridium plugs are shipped pregapped and should be OK if they haven't been dropped or something. It's not recommended to gap them yourself as the iridium is very brittle.
