Hey I am selling my old GPS system.

Its a Garmin SP c330

Its a very good unit and hasnt given me any problems, it does not have a map update. It still does an awesome job finding stuff and getting you to where you gotta go!

It doesnt have any fancy stuff like Bluetooth...but it does just have the core basics to keep it simple and very usable.

Includes the GPS Unit, Suction mount, Charger (needs new fuse)
I find these on sale through Amazon for about $120 still.

Letting this one go for $50 plus shipping.

Heres a video from Cnet when it first came out..

Heres the pics of the unit itself:

How hard is it to upgrade the maps?
Software included? Mac?

Software upgrade is done through garmin.com, simply input the gps type and it offers and update on the website...ill offer more information in detail when I get home on my laptop

the updates through garmin (map updates) are now either single time pay for lifetime updates (one unit only = non-transferable if you upgrade to a new unit)

or pay per update each time....

you don't really need to update unless you are living in a sprawling constantly new development area like down here in central Florida.

all GPS do have very good aftermarket software upgrades for POI (point of interest)

red light cameras are a good POI to go after.

but it is a good idea to research the model you intend to update

hope I helped :]

I used this unit for a couple years, and now my GF does. It works very well, and it's easy to upgrade the maps on.
