this one is from a couple shows ago.. oddly enough the color difference happened naturally.. the flash washed him out but the lens caught the color from behind him.

A place along the Hwy 1 between SF and Fort Bragg... I think it's in Marshall. Little place called Nick's Cove. My favorite shot we got. Taken with a canon 40D and a wide angle lens:

i shot these with the 50mm 1.8

i think i had it at like 8 seconds ISO 100 and f/2.0 ..i think. the bugs were bad since its on the river and we brought the dog.. who was very annoying .. so i didnt get to experiment like i wanted to. next time we'll leave the dog home :)

i usually stick with canon because the lenses are usually a little cheaper and easier to find used. Nikon definitely has a better camera in my book. I'd love to get my hands on a D90 to mess with HD video through the slr lenses :)

For now though canon works :) I traded a small reef tank i was trying to get rid of to cut down on the electric bill..

i've been playing craigslist to get new lenses and such .. buying cheap canon film cameras with lenses that will work on my camera and selling the stuff i dont need to pay for what i got out of it :)

so far i've collected 8-9 filters couple hoods, 50mm, 22-55, 55-200, i really want to get a 10mm or something really wide angle for the next lens.
