Crap! Keyless entry trouble...

Hey everybody. So I've got yet another problem. I just installed power locks/keyless entry on my Yaris this weekend. It works, but the buttons are switched! (Press lock for unlock, unlock for lock). What did I do wrong? I mean, it's not the worst problem ever, but it's certainly annoying. I got the kit from A1 Electric, if that helps.

just switch the buttons.. open up ur pager mostlikely button is the same..just switch it.

or find the cable for each signal at the receive box and swap them, a more correct approach :laugh:

With the A1 kit, there wires go to the lock/unlock button. If I remember correctly from helping someone out with an issue installing the kit, they are brown, violet and black. The black wire was the common and the two colored wires are the lock/unlock. Leave the black connected to its terminal and flip the two colored ones on the switch assembly.

We switched the brown and purple wires, and it worked like a charm.
