What do you listen to when your cruising in your Yaris?
As for me it's any tunes with ripping guitar (Homegrown mp3 disk): Hendrix, AC/DC, Van Halen, ZZ-Top, SRV, Ted Nugent, Clapton, Eric Johnson, Rush, White Zombie, Ten Years After, Surf Guitar.....etc.
But thats only when I'm driving alone without my wife!

Anything that makes my heart beat.
Argentinean Rock bands mostly, but AC/DC, GNR, Zeppelin, Oasis, Coldplay, and about anything with a beat but "latin music," rap (or hip hop and the like), country, and "mellow" music (al barry manillow and whatnot) are always played too. Depends on my mood and the traffic (GNR is a good companion in the heavy mornign traffic: keeps the drivers wanting to stick their hood where it doesn't belong at bay and keeps me energized ;).
heh. i listen to stuff most of you probably don't know. nor would understand what's being said. but hey. music is universal.
x-japan. MoMusu, brilliant green, tommy february 6, akb48, psycho le cemu, zone, hayashibara megumi, sakamoto maaya, etc. as far as that goes.
then i always listen to classical. chopin my favorite composer. XD the first and foremost sellout in music is of course beethoven.

When driving I have my special compilation CD with me, a mix of classic metal (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath, Steppenwolf, actually the soundtrack to that old Super Nintendo game Rock 'n Roll Racing, if anyone remembers that), and a good helping of the songs that can be heard in Gran Turismo 1-4
yeah, I'm a geek. So what?

Too bad the rear seat is not quite large enough to accomodate the activities related to that music

Last MP3 CD I burned had these albums on it...
Circa Survive - Juturna
Thrice - The Illusion Of Safety
Journey - Greatest Hits
Norma Jean - O' God The Aftermath
Beck - Guero
The Clash - The Singles
Reggie and the Full Effect - Songs Not To Get Married To
Cake - Prolonging The Magic
Breaking Benjamin - Phobia
Classic rock, classic punk, powerpop, post-hardcore, hardcore, radio metal, death metal, and whatever the hell you call Beck and Cake... I'd say that is a pretty wide range, haha.

Not Jpop/Jrock,
but Yoji Biomehanika is a fucking insane crazy awesome Hardstyle DJ (hard dance/hard trance/acid techno) from Japan.
He was spinning here in Toronto at Guvernment (after-hours club) back in May! Fucking AWESOMNESS! His technical abilities on the decks is nothing short of being mind-blowing. A really incredible DJ -- he blew me away w/ his use of samples in his set back in May when I finally got to see him!
Very techy-goth attire and look usually ... absolute crazy guy to see and his presence on stage is wild...

house and "club music" ... are you implying trance and techno arent club music, or just that you mean edm more along the lines of the "cheesy" (IMO) really commercial edm shit you'll here at many top 40 clubs?
