Well they charge 120 for 2 door cars but since 35% is legal front tint in Omaha and I wanted 20 they charged me an extra 30 for a "custom job" haha. after tax and all it was 160.

Not bad at all.

BTW, for $120 did they remove the door windows to get below the door paneling and taper the edges? If not, then the $200 I was quoted probably isn't so bad.

I wish I had an answer for you man, but I really never talked to the shop that did it. My girlfriends fathers best friend has a shop and that's where it was done. My girl actually set it all up and surprised me with it, I drive to work one morning with no tint and came out to a tinted yaris later that night And had no idea about it. Haha

Damn thats dark as. I got 25% on my one, after leaving it in the sun for a few months, its gone much lighter. Next time i will get 15%, Its not like i will get into trouble for having such dark tint in the yaris.

Just got limo tint 6" up front (windshield), the back (2) windows, and hatch window on my 3dr.
$125... Lovin' it. kinda wish Illinois would change the law to allow it on the front side windows... oh well.

I went with 25% all around. The tint does change the cars appearance drastically. I like how the tinted windows seem to flow together with the factory black accents making the entire window region one big blacked-out area.

Anyone know how/where to look to see what the legal tint is for your state/city?

The ceramic is a new material which is lighter tint but provides the same heat blockage of that of a darker tint. Reason I go the 60m is because I'm afraid of getting pulled over by cops here in my area. Sometimes they are dicks so I don't wanna mess with them. To me the 60m is just slightly lighter then the 50.

35% is the legal limit in ur state how ever in most cases it doesnt matter because when you get pulled over for tints they have that device they use to see how dark it is and its going to read darker then 35% idk why, i really could care less so i got 20% sides and back and 35% in front

In my area most cops don't care for your tints unless its really dark my brother's S2K has like 20 around and 35 in the front. The only thing he gets pulled over for is some mod other then the tints lol.
