Since the Yaris has a dead pedal area but, no actual pedal, I imagine the carpet can get worn fairly quick in that spot.
Has anyone installed a pedal, etc in that area?

That dead pedal is nice but only comes in kit with the pedal covers. Although the price would be great if you could resell the pedal covers (I already have the Toyota Canada accessory stainless pedal covers)
One of these days I'll make a dead-pedal from aluminum wear-plate (checker-plate). It'll be even larger for better carpet protection.

Yeah, that set is only avalable for AT as far as I can tell. Any other ideas?
Actually, I was thinking more along the lines of what MUSKOKA800 has in mind, making one yourself out of some sort of sutable material.
I like the cheap rubber mat that is cut to fit and held in place by velcro idea.
