2009 Yaris Liftback 6 Disc CD Player Installation?

Can anyone tell me how to remove the black single disc factory CD player out of my 2009 Yaris Liftback? Is the installation process difficult or should a Factory silver 6 disc player just slide in place?

The only tool required is a #2 Philips screwdriver (medium sized one).

Pull the two vertical pieces, that go along side of the silver area, off using your fingertips. I find it easiest to get it started down by the storage compartments.

Then, pull the silver part around the radio off.

Finally, remove the four screws that hold the radio brackets in place and slide it out.

Its a 6 Disc CD player from a 2009 Yaris RS which is the canadian Yaris Sedan

i got a black deck on my silver HVAC. Someone must be smoking something good when they designed this in 2006 :)

anyways, the 6 cd changer loads very slowly. I think it was discontinued in 2008.

grab the sides, and yank.
