So I've been reading up on both of these, and figure for the price, they are pretty good upgrades for an otherwise stock hatchback (lots of bang for little buck). Well, I can't exactly afford both at the moment, so which of the two would give me better results?

rear sway bar (TRD or UltraRacing)

Strut bar results are debatable, sway bar results are not

Sway bar, hands down, my opinion and the vast majority opinion: it gives immediate, noticable improvement in handling and roll stability. If I were only allowed to make one modification on my car (other than tires) it would be the one.

I have the TRD which works great. However I'd buy Garms (MIcro-Image) Ultra Racing 23mm sway bar if doing again.:burnrubber:

The sway bar is the best way to go. We have a great price on one off our website. Just let me know if you are interested!

With all else stock, a strut bar will do absolutely nothing for you but look nice. Sway bar will be quite noticable, and the Ultra racing bars are cheap!
