That's a neat link but there is no such thing as free energy, and this setup is no exception. It replaces the battery bank in an EV with an incredibly efficient electromagnetic motor. The "electro" part of the name (and that he says he has to energize the motor in the first sequence) shows that there is still an external force needed, as does the fact that he had to spool the motor up by hand initially.

Again, it is a highly efficient setup and eliminating the battery pack will be the best thing that ever happened to EVs, but "free energy" is not an accurate description.
