hahaha, I got the glitch as well.
As far as the location, I voted for the storage facility because I'm sure the pics that I can take there will be awesome. Also, Salmon Falls, although a fun road to cruise on, will most likely be too far for all of the NorCal folks.

i just did storage facility because that's so fucking random and potentially awesome for photography.

as long as i am available i will attend any of these places, but a fun run would be great. it would need to be somewhat closer to get a good turn out.

ok....i made this thread, and my very first poll thread, and i get the freakin glitch, wtf?!
ANyway, i voted for Salmon Falls, cruise/run...it just seems fun and cool to get us in a straight line together ( all 13 of us, maybe) for a nice easy drive....
Can we have picks of this storage facility computerlove87?? Not to be mean or anything, but when the word "storage facility" pops in my mind, i picture this abandon rusted old massive shed look-alike....dont ask me why :P
Thats why i voted away from the majority lol....
EDIT: 2nd vote for Salmon Falls is by a member a forum member whom I dont know if he/she is from NorCal~

I'm down for one closer to sac. Time and time again these meets start in one location then migrate to the bay area. I think it would be fair to have one more this way for a change.

Hey guys -
new here, in fact this is my first post!
I just bought a 2009 Polar White 3dr Hatch Type S with manual transmission and "TRD package" - TRD springs, struts, shocks, TRD exhaust, TRD swaybar, TRD Sport 18" wheels. It will have basically every TRD accessory available as that is my theme! Even the license plate reads MINI TRD. pics will be posted soon.
Some of you may know my old scion tC - TRD TC (http://carsponsors.com/trdtc) from various car shows, Scikotics events, or cruises. Well, a deer along Sunrise Blvd shortened its life (http://rcinfo.us/cia/mods) and now I have a Yaris to replace it.
Since I am in Sacramento, I voted for Sac! Anyhow, I will try and make it wherever you end up. Hey Laz, it's Clark, Chuck's friend. He says hi and that you never call anymore. Ooops, enough off-topic!
See you soon!

I chose Sacramento as well. I don't mind driving down to the bay area, but I've done it more times this year than I really needed to. And ztrack is pretty far away, so if he could come to a meet in Sacramento I think it's worth it to have a different member be able to show up to a meet.
MiniTRD - man that sucks! Looks like it's right after you cross the American River. I wouldn't think you'd have deer around that area, I would figure the traffic would scare them away.
MiniTRD
07-25-2009, 04:26 AM
well according to the CHP it happens quite often there at the river - in fact there's a deer crossing sign on the other side of the road!

To those wanting the Sacramento cruise/run...... How long is the trail, how long would you be willing to do the cruise, and how many can make it if i post up a date 3 weeks in advance for you guys? AND i mean dead serious on showing up~~ no flakes..
If you guys can be committed to the cruise run and not run off after an hour or so, then it may be worth it for us Bay Area folks to come up there..... (excludes Kaotic)

LMAO. I'm in the Bay Area when this cruise will take place. hahaha. So I'll be heading up there too. Just letting you know now, I won't be able to make it if it takes place August 9-12.
Anywho, the cruise itself has two variation. The shorter one is 26.8 miles and about 48 minutes. http://www.google.com/maps?f=d&source=s_d&saddr=US-50+W&daddr=38.743373,-121.05423+to:I-80+E&hl=en&geocode=FXrMTQIdipvI-A%3B%3BFRieUQIdGpjI-A&mra=dpe&mrcr=0&mrsp=1&sz=10&via=1&sll=38.894239,-121.206665&sspn=0.549384,1.234589&ie=UTF8&z=10
Longer route at 42.3 miles and 1hr and 20 minutes.

Hi guys, I am the one who offered the storage facility in Mill Valley, if it wins, I need at least 1 wk to get ready. Anyway, in case we do decide to meet there, it is 799 redwood highway Mill Valley, CA. For those who know the area, It is the green/brown facility (not public storage) right behind the Arco gas station and goodman's lumber. It is right across the freeway from In/out burger and Strawberry shopping center.

It's a shame the Sacramento meet can't be a lot sooner because I'm in Folsom right now at a buddy's place as I write. Unfortunately, I won't be staying too much longer. I voted for Mercado because I'm not sure if I could make the drive up to Sacramento area again and then drive another 50 miles. Money is a bit tight since I'm going on vacation and really need to save every penny I can. I leave for Hawaii around August 15th.

Friday, the 14th should be okay for me. But in order to get good pictures, we should have it no later than late afternoon oppose to evening. I hope I'm not too tired by then since I'll be in SoCal from the 9th-12th, and the 12th is my birthday, so I'm bound to be doing something that day too. 13th a rest day, and 14th would be prep and meet day. Looks like we need an other poll with dates and time and do it "open" so you can see who is voting for what date. That'll give you a better idea.
I just noticed that Lasagna can't come on the last we of august. Looks like we really need a poll with dates and times because it's hard to follow in thread format.
Can anyone set the poll or only the person who started the thread?

Computerlove, you gotta call the shots on this meet now, your leading it hehe (unless you want me to set some dates in mind?)
I cant edit the poll, so a new thread is the only option now~
Thread starter w/ new poll needs to consider the availability posted on here carefully so we dont have errors in the new thread poll....
And, MiniTRD, i was hinting at more of the Sac users on this forum w/ more post counts, I'm sure you'll make it out...you seem dedicated bro!

Okay, since there is no date, and no one is stepping up to the plate, how about August 24 or 25, Monday or Tuesday, respectively? Garm can't make it on the weekends, and this should be enough time to get a day off, and before school starts.

I root for a Friday afternoon meet after 11:30am is fine.....
I don't need 3 weeks advancement for a Friday...
EDIT: I can do a Tuesday/Thursday (anytime), and Friday after 11am...
Here's to make it simple for computerlove or who ever starts new thread w/ poll....
Kaotic: before the 21st of August...

I think we should pick a date and just see who can go. Delaying it will only give less time to those who need to get the day off.

hahaha, I'm thinking 14, 15, 16 is too soon for a lot of people. I'm still thinking the 24th or the 25th would be best.

here was my post, I can see how someone might think that:
14-15-16 bad for me, sorry -- 21-22-23 or 28-29-30
What I meant was not the 14,15 or 16th, too soon, but a later weekend might work for me.
But seriously guys, don't pick a date on my account, my car is not completely tuned and reliable yet, and I would maybe have to come up in the tC.

:headbang: Hey, that's OK, we'd love to meet you even if you drive in a Honda Fit :biggrin::bellyroll:
Ok, here we go again:
Tomato is OK with later week-end as well (not on labor day WE though)
Saturday any time (11:00 am to early evening) or Sunday morning/ afternoon
I drive stock, though, but if you need a spot of red for the pictures

OK......no one has stepped in...... fine >_>.....
This is what I came up with, reading people's posts on here
-----I'm leaning hot towards the 28th and 29th. I think others and I would still have time to request one of those days off because the 17th-23rd work schedule has not been posted up as of TODAY...
If it is the 28th, Friday, I want it late afternoon, early evening time.
If it is the 29th, Saturday, I want it afternoon mainly....
TAKE YOUR PICK GUYS.....in the new thread (damn i hope there's no glitch again~~)
