Cops can be really cool. We were testing a new type of boat about 10 years ago, and needed to know exactly how fast it was going. I asked the Chief if we could rent a radar gun, and he said, "Nope! We don't do that." But he DID send a car down to the dock to clock it for us. I guess even the cops like to watch boats....
