Guelph Cruise & Meet - CANCELLED.

Ok guys,

Garm let me know that some of you may still want to have a Guelph meet...I just assumed it was off because of the obvious...

Obviously I am still peers with my fellow Yaris owners, whom have nothing to do with the recent series of administrative events...

Ok new date, same plan...

Saturday October 3, 1:30 pm with Sunday October 4, 1:30 pm as a rain-out alternate (the beast is strictly a fair-weather friend)...

I will post a place to meet shortly with directions once I sort that out...I have not had any news from Toyota so I am going to look at other spots...

I've never been a fan of sitting in parking lots, so I also plan for a mini fall cruise first, so we will most likely meet near the Rockwood Conservation Area, take a few shots, and carve out a few of the nice twisties I know on our way to Guelph...

I will make maps of the route and provide them at the start point so if anyone gets lost or falls behind they will have both the route we are taking and directions to our secondary meet location...

As these are public roads and I do not condone unsafe driving of any manner, let's be safe, respectful drivers out there, and obey the rules of the road...

Please post any conflicts you may have with the date asap...If there isn't enough interest at this point, or issues with me in general, I will simply cancel the meet, and you guys can choose do your own thing without my involvement...

Any GTA guys not aware of importance of this event should shake their heads. A one shot deal to meet the man, echo_hrs, and have a great time as well. Perhaps a poll with different dates could be advantageous. We could meet perhaps in the Mississuaga area and cruise the 401 to the meet. Way to go Steve!!! can't wait for details!!! Common GTA guys, post up!!!

Perhaps, some northern US guys may take a trip cross border(depending on passports) to such an event. Only about 3 hrs from Ohio, Penn, NY state!!!

What was being attempted in this thread just isn't going to occur. He was supposed to be making the arrangements for a September meet, either at a dealership or something else if that didn't pan out. For 2 years we've been trying to get a public appearance out of this guy.
Getting an appointment with the prime minister would probably be easier.

I'm certainly not going to expend energy trying to chase him down at this point.
