Hey, i've got a 8" midbass with a 4" mounting depth, a 4.5" midrange with about a 3" mounting depth, and then a tweet that I want to install up front. I was planning to do it all stealth like in stock locations + kick panels, but after seeing your comp setup, I think your setup would be easier, and makes more sense (for my size 12 feet).

One question I have is.... how did they attach that glass pod/baffle to your doors?

Do you have a picture of the inside of your door panel? or one that shows how they mounted those pods?

I'm starting to really get sick of the stock radio & speakers, and until I install my 3-ways, I can't really upgrade anything because the denon deck I own doesn't have an internal amp. In 2 weeks i'll have 3 days back in my hometown where I will finally have access to a garage and tools (saws, router) and would like to get as much of the frame/skeleton work done as possible so that when I come back, I can just focus on laying fiberglass.

thanks for any help you can be.

-Ryan

grab me a link to the TS specs of the subs you are talking about... and i'll make a quick graph comparing 3 & 4 subs on that arc amp.... is the arc 1 or 2 ohm stable? I know Diamond makes decent products, but i've never messed with any of their subs before.

he doesn't have any pics of that part.... we're out of luck

I'm thinking if I go that route i'll have to throw 2-3 bolts through the door skin, and very possibly adds some reinforcement to the backside of the skin... that or find some way to attach it to the sheet metal of the door.

I might give up on the 8's and just go with a similar performing 6.5".... tho, doing that would cost a decent amount of money that I don't want to spend.
