I heard a bad whinning sound coming from the engine never heard it before.The car only has 61000 miles on it drove it to the toyota dealer it was late in the day so it was to late to have it checked that day so they gave me a loaner long story short I picked it up today $770.00 dollars for alternator it must be made of gold to cost that much over a hundred of it was labor.I got out and looked at it when I got home the plastic cap over the hot wire on the alt was missing i found it down in the plastic pan on the bottem of the car must have been a real idiot that put it in hope he didn't over tighten the belt or the water pump will be next
