Has anyone purchased for their Yaris AFE's Pro Dry S OEM drop in filter??.. If so, how did you find the built quality of the filter?

Thanks

I got one of these oem replacement dry s air filters in the early spring of this year. I thought the quality was very good...for $40 it should be!!!! The advantage of this filter is...no oil to deal with and you can vacuum the filter to clean it and maintain it's efficiency.

Thanks for your feedback Easy...

Do you mind me asking where you purhcased it from?...

Also, it seems AFE has changed their website and it is such a pain in the a$# now!... Even their sigh up feature does not have a Canadian pull down option... Does anyone know of a good online dealer of AFe products?

thanks guys!

If Garm does not carry the drop ins another good place is Auto Anything.

I bought a Pro Dry for my wife's Rogue and they are of very high quality. The only reason I haven't bought one for my Yaris is I'm seriously considering the AFE intake.

If I recall correctly...you can restore the air filter's efficienty to 85% by tapping it on a hard surface, 95% by vacuuming it. I just vacuumed mine today, it's been very dry here this summer (no complaints) and I thought it might have picked up extra dust. But it looked pretty clean! I haven't driven it that many miles since installation though.

I got one, it seemed very well constructed.
