I've changed every interior bulb to LED-bulbs so I got that nice white (a little blue) look.

The difference between LED-bulbs (in front) and original bulbs (middle)

This one is a little more blueish than the lights in front.

Even changed the one in the trunk

And finally, the license plate

PRETTY TIGHT
very nice results. What LEDs did you buy? Where did you get 'em? How much did they cost? Was it an easy change?

i just placed my order a little while ago through autolumination.com to do my parking, brake, reverse, turns, side markers, dome/map/trunk, and license plate all in LED.. it cost me about $85-90 i think?

I've changed all of my interior lights too. Got mine from VLEDs. Still waiting for someone to try using a white, 4" CFL in place of the rear license plate light.

It's pretty easy, but here's a small DIY.
I used T10 bulbs like this for the map lights and license plate (about 6$ for 2):

A bulb like this for the dome light (31mm) and the trunk (37mm). Note that these are 2 different sizes. (about 10$ each)

Use a screwdriver at those 4 points, just pull the lights out (no turning or pushing, just pulling)

Use a screwdriver at those 2 points

Use a screwdriver at this side, plug it out by pushing the clip at the connector, change the bulb, plug it in
And that's how easy it is.
The license plate was a bit trickier. There's 2 clips at the sides you have to pull inwards and then pull it down. It doesn't come out that easy.
Then just turn the socket en pull it out, change bulb and put everything back.
Nice little DIY, this is something I would like to do in the near future.

I just wanted to know where you bought those LED lights and if they are simple to install. I have an '08 Yaris Sedan that I'd like to do that too. My main focus right now is to change the back lights that shine on the License Plate itself to be LED.
So, again, I'd like to know where I can buy them, if they are easy to install and if I need to buy anything else. I'm assuming it's just the bulb you change for everything? Also, around what range of price should I be looking in? Thanks!!!

I was going to do the same thing. The first ones I bought are some for the license plate, but I'm having a hard time getting to the bulbs to replace them :( I'll look for those 2 clips you talk about and see if I can get it.

Don't use screwdrivers but small pliers, so you can hold the clips and pull it. You have to wiggle the whole thing a bit. Pull a bit on the left, a bit on the right, ...
I also had to remove my license plate because I couldn't pull the whole thing down.
Oh, and a small tip: Test the light before you put everything back in
ps. Sorry for the cellphone pic, our camera is broken.

Very useful DIY.
Personally, I just (today) installed some "Polarg M4 B1 hyird" hyper white bulbs in my map lights.
I just happend to have them on hand (I use them in my other car) and I already installed them in my front parking and license plate lights.
However, I just ordered a led bulb for the dome light. The DIY informed me what size (31mm) to get.

Hmm I'm guessing you have the liftback? I don't see those clips anywhere on the sedan :(

Yes, it's a hatchback.

I figured it out for the sedan.
Open the trunk and remove the 2 rubber plug things that hold the cloth cover to the inside of the trunk lid. Pull down on that slightly so that you can see the 2 wires that go to the bulbs for the lag lights. Twist, but not too hard, and it should move about 1/4" or so. If it seems to be taking a lot of force twist it the other way. Once it moves the 1/4" or so it should just fall free, then you can disconnect the bulb housing deal from the wire and pull the bulb from the housing. It took considerable force to get the bulbs out for mine. Then you can put the new bulbs in and you are good to go! I'll take pictures of mine tonight when it gets dark :)
