here is what i have been waiting to put on black drag dr16 16x7 with 205/50/16 sumo firenza st-08 ..although one of the rims weight came off had to go back...loving the stubby tires which i prefer rather than going for 17's with 40 series tires..not recommended on the road where im at.

FINALLY is right!!! Looks good. I think some blue lugs would really go nicely.
What's the offset? Now you gotta start posting letting us all know what your rub experience is now ;)
BTW - what is up with that trim you got in your rear wheel wells?

i know FINALLY is the word its been so long..anyways..its on
16x7 +40 offset 205/50/16 on trd spring/eibach no rubs on turns so far..had to go back though coz one of the wheel weight on the rear came off..weird.
and trim was meant for the wheel well edges. had minor scratch on the edge so i tried to cover it up with it..as u can see there is more of them scratches left over some people cant exit off a parking space..

One thing I find mildly surprising is how those 205s on 16X7s look a bit stretched. My 195s on 16X7s look the same. Would have expected to see a bit of sidewall bulge.
Ditch the rocker panel chrome - I know your thinking about it ;)

Could people please stop buying black rims with chrome lip for every car on the road? Looks terrible.
Sorry

Sorry
NOPE
Looks good marcus! Especially with the red painted calipers. Mmmmm, wish I had more tire and less heavy 17"s!

I am a fan of polished lips. Sand and paint those rusrty brake drums with caliper paint for a clean finished look.

i do agree with a 2 of things..
overly used drag rims specially by civics and scions in usa
black rims with chrome lips are too common and old school ..almost
but
this rims is hard to come by in canada not too common of a look,, so far ive seen one on a integra once for the last 8 months on a gold color. when i was looking for one.
black with chrome lips old school style but im trying to match it with the blackened bumper and i do love lipz on a rims some dont some do...and i do... if i can find the widest possible lips ill put it on but i went with weight on a rims vs stock
overall i loved it..im sure ill be on the future meets but right now im on a lancer club meets every wednesday. was gonna be on last month but had a stag to go to.
brake drums will be painted..and maybe during adding of 10mm spacer

Looks good...Very autocrossy...Just put some bigger fender flares to cover those scratches, and then you'll have an excuse to use spacers...
Cheers
yah i been looking for one ..

Who said red? I said caliper paint because it holds up best in to the brake environment.

Please don't paint your drums red; keep 'em black...
Cheap-ass Canucks seem to love their Motegi MR7's; In Guelph they seem to only buy two...There's a '92ish Civic that drives me crazy every time I see it...
17" white MR7's on the back, and sad little oem Honda 14" w/covers on the front, monster size tach and a brutal fart can...
Probably a hardcore guelphracing member...I'm so ashamed that this is my city's local club... I see some of the saddest cars around with huge club banners on their windshield, like a Hyundai Tuscon with neons underneath, Mercury Sable with a full combat body kit, and a crapload of J-Bodies...
Cheers
Lol. Its the same everywhere. Some of the Sh$t I see is like........well you get the point.
Back to the rims. Looks great.

arent those polished lips a pain to take care of? thats always why i avoided those kinds of rims. i remember when i lived in london, the locals drove vw's a lot and had big dished rims....always having to clean them and stuff
flat black is the way to go! lol
