Idea of a big meet

I actually failed at organizing the previous meet... so i thought, maybe something on the state side would be better?

A friend of mine just came back from an integra meet in NC. While things started back in 2005. Today, there's about 60+ cars that meet up each year at the Dragon Tail over the weekend.

You guys think it is possible of such meet of the YW crew?

I'm sure if planned in advance with a firm date and well publicized you could draw a group together. Just don't get your hopes too high for a huge 1st meet. Costs would deter many/most.

Well, obviously will have to be planned well ahead of time. The Dayton OH meet seems to be catching up... hopefully i'll be able to attend it. A weekday meet out of town is definitely out of question for me.

The problem i've seen with the Echo (echofans.org) is that people get tired of it, and moves on. I guess mainly due to the name change. I hope this is not going to happen.

anyhow.. we'll see how the dayton meet turns out. Maybe i can try to make it big next year?

echodrivers.com is still around...its just dead

clubechoquebec is pretty lively, but lots don't speak english so may not travel to ON for a 'mega' meet

They are going to Kingstone next weekend. But i will be travelling to eastern Quebec (sept-ile)

The only reason why clubechoquebec is lively is because there are just soooooooo many echos in Quebec. Also, the club is made joint with clubyarisquebec (should be getting back the domain name shortly)

echofans or echodrivers have no meaning to the yaris owners...
