are you using the internet on it?
we still haven't found anywhere with wifi that the damn thing can connect to.
I've gone through all the motions, checking everything in settings, (that's all I can do, obviously, as using free wifi at a store doesn't grant you access to troubleshoot on there end)
other than that it's a decent time waster. Just need to breakdown and get an acekard cartridge, that way the full usefulness of the DSi can come out. (watch movies, mp3 player, full internet with modding)
internet with the dsi is lame. it constantly runs out of memory and wont load pages, it wont even load gmail up. no flash is supported, its slow, and you have to scroll so much its not worth using it at all. although i agree it is a good time waster, i refunded it back to evil walmart.

You could look here for help
(http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/dsi/en_na/online.jsp) or here (http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/systems/dsi/en_na/usb/yesWR.jsp).
Edit: Do your Wireless network have WPA? Because the DS/DS lite is not compatible with WPA...Maybe the DSi only support WEP.

If you plan on using the acekard make sure you do not do the new facebook upgrade at the DSI shop since it blocks such devices. So you either have to choose between the acekard or the DSI shop for now.
I've never had a problem connecting to the internet anywhere. I also find the internet capabilities to be pretty good. The only downside is that it doesn't support flash. However, I never once was unable to do something I wanted to do on it.

tried to connect at a dunkin donuts and at Ale House (restaurant/bar) neither time it connected. I don't know what kind of routers they have but neither one said they needed a passkey (wep)

THANKS FOR THE HEADS UP....although one of two things needs to happen:
actually get online/get onto the dsi shop
-AND/OR-
get a facebook account lol

the facebook photo button isn't really that important IMO but they won't let you in the DSI shop until you do the upgrade. You don't have the option to use the shop and not upgrade.
