View Full Version : Audible turn signals

One thing I don't like about my Yaris is the silent turn signals. Sometimes I go through a right turn I think should turn the signal off but it it doesn't. Since I can't hear it and the right indicator is so far to the right on the dash, I've caught myself driving a good ways before I notice this.
Where are the flashers located? Does this car even have flashers such as the cars of yore? I remember stock flashers that had melodious chiming notes- and replacement ones that were really loud for the hard-of-hearing.
Any comments or suggestions?

It's a relay at the bottom right corner of the under dash fuse panel. Mine clicks, but is hard to hear over the road noise. You could connect a pair of 12V chimes or buzzers to the feed to the turn signals to make it more audible.

Maybe it's my advancing age, but I just can't hear it if the radio's on-:frown:

I didn't notice mine until I installed all the sound deadening in my Yaris.
