Can anyone think of a way to make my idea work???

My idea was to remove the passenger seat and install a swiveling mount for my laptop there so the driver or rear passengers could control the laptop, and it could be plugged into the accessory input for music (watch music videos or DVD's on it as well, etc.)

I tried to remove the passenger seat, and it was not happening, I made no head-way on it.

if there is some secret to getting the bolts loose or something then maybe I can still install something there.

Otherwise, can someone think of another way to possibly make this work?

The stick prevents something from being mounted in the middle like in a squad car, so I don't know. Might have to give up on this one.

An E-10 Torx socket will remove the four bolts holding in the passenger's seat

Before you yank the seat, check out ram-mount. They have some nice mounts that would work without pulling the seat. There is a Yaris specific one that mounts to the passenger seat rail:
