I won't be going to Cayuga but I will be doing the Sept 6th at Mosport DDT again.
I will be at Cayuga on Friday hopefully racing my Supra. I have somewhere else to be Sunday though :(

Were you the person out there on Sunday with the white Yaris? When I was looking over the field I thought I might actually be able to keep up with your car, but you were much to quick for me... Please tell me that you have some prior lappinig experience! :)
Anyways, I was in the blue Mazda hatchback and it was my first time out, so I still have much to learn.

Oh and BTW, sorry for leading you astray after the first corner. I thought I had studied the lapping videos enough, but the lack of cones in that spot confused me a bit...

My fault, not yours. As long as we made it back to the main track safely, all is good.
This was the first time at Cayuga second time lapping. My first lapping was July 5 at mosport but only got 60 min of driving due to red flags(very dissapointing). There are some posts from cayuga on youtube and we both get passed. I had a garmin set up showing lap times. My average time (with no hold ups) was 1min,44 sec. This was consistant lap after lap. Top speed was 130km/h and a fastest lap time of 1min,42 sec (not on the same lap).
89 hp egg car,too much fun. Im hopping to do one or two more lapping events before it snows.
What where your impressions of lapping at cayuga?Lots to learn eh?

Well I'm not sure how you can take the blame when I was the one who made the wrong turn, but thanks anyways.
It's great to hear that you've at least been out before, and that car is suprisingly quick! You say that it only has 89hp, but at ~130hp I was struggling to hit 120km/h on the back straight, and couldn't keep up with you in the corners either...
Did you at least have special rubber on that day? Those rims didn't look quite stock.
I had a great time and am hoping to make it back to Cayuga again. The touge guys were suggesting I check out Mosport, but I think Cayuga is a better training ground for my car. If I can just get a good line going all the way through then my times should improve nicely. I might have to try one of those garmin gadgets too. :)
