sorry guys i know i'm asking a lot of questions. i got this stereo like 99% done, my only problem is that i wired the remote wire from the amps to the power antenna behind the HU... now my amps turn off when i try to play a cd or ipod. what wire should i use instead of the power antenna wire to get power to it when the radio is on and also keep power to it when i listen to a cd?

When playing a cd the power antenna wouldnt be needed so it cuts the power.

I would find a hot wire that comes on with the key.

I dont know colors but there listed in your last thread.

For the wiring. The following connections should be off of the blue connector:

Power - Black or Gray (next to blue)
Ground - White w/black stripe

Gray (next to pink)- Front Right+
Yellow - Front Right-

Pink - Front Left+
Violet - Front Left-


The rears are off of the small white connector:

Black - Rear Left+
Yellow - Rear Left-

Red - Rear Right+
White - Rear Right-


If that wire has no power when key is off then thats your best bet, if it has power when key is off dont use it or your amp will always be powered up.

Gray (next to Blue) is the one you want. That is the ignition switched power. The black wire is the antenna one.
