They come in 6-speed manual here also. The gas mileage isn't as good as the 6-speed auto though. I'm very impressed with the auto.

lol, you don't get out much, do you?

All I know is it's got all the acceleration I need for my daily drive and it's got more nuts than my Yaris did.

i drove the cube and found the tranny to shift really well and smooth but the pick up was a lot slower then my yaris. I test drove a 6spd and really wasnt impressed for the price. The old cubes looked 10X better then the ones we finally got her in the US. They havent been selling very well here in AZ, The dealer keeps calling me every 3 months to see if I am still interested lol

For my tastes, it is pretty horrible; but I am sure there are lots of people out there that love the look and I hope they all enjoy the car and have as much fun as I do in my Yaris!

I tell ya it's like some kind of extra dimensional trick of bending space because it looks small (and is I guess) but when you get inside it feels HUGE!

Yeah I think I have to agree with that. I don't like those box cars like the Cube, Element, etc. Hey if that's what you like though :iono:

my neighbor has a cube now(i think he works for a dealership due to the plates and constant new vehicles in the drive). i REALLY like it in person and would definately get one over anything else out there like it(ie. xb, soul). the look is definately 'love it or hate it', but i LOVE IT! as a bonus, there is already an aftermarket for it - tanabe makes coilovers specifically for it(a dumped cube actually looks really good!).

I generally don't go for new models but because it's actually an old model and has been out overseas since '98 I wasn't worried. The engine is rock solid and there are tons of goodies already out on the market.

It has some great options on it too. The Nissan Intelligent Key which allows me to put the key/remote in my pocket in the morning and I don't need to take it out until I come home. The door unlocks with a push of the button and it starts with the push of a button. I have bluetooth, iPod compatible head unit, 7 speaker Rockford Fosgate, rear sonar backing system, steering wheel audio controls, 16" rims. All for just $3,000 more than my Yaris cost me.
