hey guys i am looking into possibly test fitting some fender flares on my 09 sedan but i was wondering if anyone has done this before and has pics?
from what i understand if you take 2 pairs of front fender flares from the scion xb then they should fit. i think that might work for the lb but i am concerned about sedan fitment. id like to run some wide wheels but i want the flares to fit correctly
i am trying to achieve something subtle like this
http://ll.speedhunters.com/u/f/eagames/NFS/speedhunters.com/Images/Jacco%20Willemsen/Random%20Shots/672%201.jpg
i noticed the rear flares are a 2 piece with part of the flare being on the door itself.
is there a company that is interested in fabbing flares for the yaris? i feel like there would be a good amount of people interested in these if they were available

Mine are actually off a Scion XB.. just bought the rears off a friend of mine. They are not a perfect fit as you can see. My body shop is gonna do a little cutting and adding fiberglass to make them perfect. I like these because they arent as "bubbly" as the prototype one's and not as long<---> front to rear

I can't stand the exposed rivets, they ruin the flares for me...
Cheers
+1
might as well get a full custom wide body kit IMO

They are very close. I have my old set still in storage. I test fit one when I first got the car. I can dig it out again and get a pic for reference. I am going a different route though. I plan to eventually get my rims mounted and then do a slight pull on the fenders for fitment.
As for the rivets.....I was going to have them bolted/riveted on and then mold them into the body. I did it once before and they looked so much better.

The front ones look good on the Yaris. The rears will require just some trimming since the lines are different on the back doors (at least on the sedan).

id love to see someone post some pics!
i decided to go with a difference route myself because i started remembering how annoying it was to wash my old miata that i flared

funny this thread would come up now, I'm putting flares on my own car here pretty soon. Just sorting out the wheel/tire/offset part first, so I know how much fender to trim.

Yeah, I'm looking at putting some in so I can fit some fatter tires and bring the suspension down a bit. Where did you get yours?

hope so, but I have to trim the rears for the sideskirt and rear bumper. Waiting to finalize the SP1 specs, then we'll do them.
Probably will be done for ToyotaFest (crossing fingers)

Did you ever get around to cut and install flares on the yaris.
I found 50mm flares that match the curve of the yaris, meaning they sit flush at bottom of wheel well.I will trim shorter to rest on the top of the Kaminari skirt.I will use larger spacers or get lower offset wheels.
I am dropped with stechs and want to trim metal and use spacers. The flares will be color matched.Front and back are both 50mm flares.
My wheels are currently 16x7 40 offset with 10mm spacer back.
I have seen flares on some gti's and it looks amazing. My only issue is the tire hitting metal fender lip even after cut.Not sure how much travel the suspension has?

You'll get no response from him here.
This is the car in its last known state.

Car hasn't been with him in a long time. I still text Garm from time to time, he's working on some really interesting rides these days. He also has an Instagram account, but doesn't seem to be very active on it.

Thanks for the reply.
I see the fenders are not cut.Not what I had in mind.In the future I may cut and use 50mm flares with spacers.I have seen some GTI'S and golf like this and it looks amazing.
For know I have 17x8.25 25+ and will be mildly stretching a tire,probaly 205/45.
I got these same wheels here..
