You know, I've actually been thinking of this: do any of you think it's possible to tune our PCM to run on E85? I mean, it's still a combustible fluid despite the fact that its combustion rate is different, so why couldn't it be done? For example: Ford made their Contour run on regular gasoline from the base model to the SVT, and then there was a CNG model which had the same 2.0L Zetec motor, but it ran on natural gas. Different gas, but same principle.

Did you run the car on it or did you realize it right away?

I think you should take advantage of the situation and go kick some ass at the drag strip.

I know that the 2007 Toyota Yaris is designed to run on either 100% gasoline or E10 without risk of damage to the motor. I say fill up your Yaris with gasoline every time you get down to 7 bars on the fuel gage. You could try using 93 octane until you burn off at least 1/2 of the E85. If your Yaris runs, keep on driving. You should be able to burn off the E85 in a dozen or so 1/8 tank fill ups.
The problem with draining your tank is that you have to dispose of the gasoline in a legal environmentally friendly manor. Paying someone to dispose of gasoline is expensive. If you own a gasoline powered lawn mower, and have enough gas cans to drain your Yaris, the lawn mower may be able to run on a mixture of E85 and gasoline.
I know that some junk yards run their tow trucks on what ever gasoline is found in junked wrecked vehicles. I guess you could call around and see if you can donate your E85 mixed with regular gasoline to the nearest junk yard. LOL.

If it's running fine and hasn't turned on the check engine light, drive it and be happy. Others have reported that a stock Yaris will run fine on something over 40% ethanol before the ECU starts having problems injecting enough fuel to keep it from going lean. The scary messages often quoted about engine and fuel system damage with >10% ethanol don't apply to modern cars.
Using 93 octane gas to dilute it won't give you a benefit. E85 is 104 pump octane.
