I was watching an episode of Police woman of Broward County on TLC. One of the officers pulls a guy over in his new white 3 door latchback. He had been seen driving around in an area frequented by prostitutes. The female officer scared him so bad he actually urinated in his pants. LMAO

On the first episode, Andrea and her partner spearheaded a raid into a "drug house." They actually shoved their pistols out sideways, gangsta style! I laughed and laughed.

Well, the lady cops are eye candy, at least.

Oh yeah, Ana blindsided some poor skinny elderly black dude suspected of selling drugs and tackled him right off of his pedal trike. He was just sitting there smoking a cigarette talking to his friends when she hit him from behind and took him right down in the dirt. Lucky he didn't break a hip, I'd say. She also got pretty rough with a fat black chick who was trying to hide drugs up in her privates. I forgot to check out the episode this Monday night.

Wow...being a firearm enthusiast I'm disgusted enough with that to not watch the show at all. It bothers me when TV shows law enforcement officers using weapons in that manner. The last thing we need is more firearm accidents...

@TEHxFALLEN V1.2 - good luck with your LEO training!

Cops holding pistols sideways? Wtf?

Yeah, I was dropping my jaw. "Oh, no, she didn't." "Oh yes, she did!" Then I just cracked up. The male cop with her did it, too.

There is no support in the wrist when holding a firearm like that.. gangsters are so stupid.

Yeah when firing in that position not only is it practically impossible to be assured of what you are aiming at, but when firing rapidly (as most do) the recoil generally sends bullets spraying everywhere...and that's never a good thing.

I'm no expert, but I do well enough. I generally practice for 8" groups (double taps usually) with my combat pistols at 30 yards or so.

Can LEO in CA carry high capacity magazines or do you guys still have to abide by that 10 round maximum?

I'm not sure about the round capacity allowed for officers here in California yet, but I would imagine that officers should be able to carry hi-cap magazines anyways.

The high capacity magazine ban nationally expired with the "assault weapons" ban several years ago. I was glad of that. Wasn't a good idea. Unenlightened states like California have their own restrictions, of course.

Oh yes, I enjoy my 30+ round mags for my AK variants, M4, Glock 17, etc. Here in AL as long as it's not a full auto that's about the only restrictions we have haha.

I would think officers could carry high capacity, but you never know haha.
